a fishing mini

using my cricut with webster's papers this might be one of my most favorite minis ever!

my husband and alex love to fish!
and when we got our boat.. eric caught some great fish & pictures!

this book captures alex's best catches so far!

die cuts are from the  life is a beach cartridge

alex is a huge fan of sharks so i knew i had to include a couple

they've even caught a couple of them!

the round journal shape was created using a friskers punch
and i'm going to have alex write down what type of fish he caught on each page

loved using this cart so much

and mixing it with these papers

gave it such a fun twist!

a whale of a tail

when they fish i sit and scrap - or sit on the beach.. yay!

used tons of glossy accents

and this seahorse - i love!

i covered it with glossy accents after applying a little stickels for a glitter pop!

the last page is a underwater seine...

  1. Now this is STUNNING work Bekah! the little sceneries you have created are just so adorable and they shine just so bright on perfect backing papers. Love the seaweed, the little underwater critters, all the different fish, in fact I love all the pages! The photos are just brill, capturing Alex doing what he loves best and to have a journalling spot for him to fill in is just so thoughtful. Love the sparkly ribbon/thread on the cover with the buttons jumping out of the water and the layered ric-rac and waves. The last two pages would be perfect for a border on a layout, so many cute details! Thanks for sharing Bekah, bet Alex is over the moon with this mini! xxxx
