this post got me to thinking about:

1. i should make my posts easier to read
2. blogs i love
3. taking this a little more seriously (but not too seriously
4. commenting and participating more with other bloggers (you guys!)
after all there are so many blogs to be inspired by
- check out the one's i frequent - over on the side bar!

all that thinking brought about an idea
a blog hop
i've never done one but always wanted to
"we" could have projects, giveaways & drawings.. oh the skies the limit (i'm getting excited now!)
so, if you would like to participate jot me off an email at

meanwhile, maybe you'll be getting an email from me asking if you would like to participate!

have a colorful day!

little black book

my version of
a little black book

the blue and purple color scheme is neutral for a boy or girl yet colorful

each page simplistic as possible
the only embellishment is the paper itself!
(which will end up framing the pictures once added)

little black book supplies:
album: dcwv
frames with swirls: cricut cartridge home accents
bling: vintage jewelry

added with some serious small scraps from the basic grey junebug collection
i made the cutest kitsch styled album ever! check it out!

not sure yet what pictures i'm going to add to this album
but one thing for sure.. they're going to have to be some serious great pictures!
up close face shots or maybe i'll keep it as one of those baby books for later..

an all chipboard album

(this is one of my favorite pages!)

the left page here is just screaming for a black and white photo!

scraporium shopping spree

a little extra cashesh called for a scraporium shopping spree (say that 10 times really fast!)
and i'm sooo excited about my finds!
the 7gypsies mini book was 40% off - so that was a must!
not sure what i'm doing with it but for 40% off.. why didn't i get more then one?? silly rebekah!

and the tiny attacher i've been wanting for quite some time! it was a little spurlge and i can't put it down!!

the glimmer mist is a 1st for me.. yep you heard right - i've never used it!
so i'm looking forward to giving it a wirl! i got the marshmellow color

which i think will go beautifully with the road show collection by fancy pants.

think i'm going to visit whim so doddle or look online to see if i can find the rest of the collection, i bought everything scraporium had left! love this collection!
think it will make a gorgeous baby mini book!

here is the collection..

bought 2 sheets

bought 2 sheets

out of these i have the cards (bottom left)
and the strips (bottom right)
chic strips (top right)
2 sheets each

i want to get the delicate dots (middle right)
dilly daily (top right)

this is amazing!! i would incorporate this into a mini book..
instead of using them for the cards they were designed for! how innovative of me! :)
but i'm going to have to find it first!!

journal book
tags & titles
and ribbon!! all a must!!
rubons are one of my favorites!!
and buttons and brads!! no mini book can go without!!

then there's stickers and letters..
i loooooovveeeeee the stickers!!

ok now i have to get the rest of this!! so i can start on this book!
it might even be enough to make 2 books and a couple layouts!

baby bunny book

every scrapbooker has told me the same thing about having kids..
"your not going to have time to scrap anymore!"

so in preparation of all the thousands and thousands of pictures i plan on taking during my pregnancy, birth and infancy of our first little one - i've started making mini books which are completely picture ready, all i'll need to do is print and paste!
..and if there's any time in between feedings, diapers and trying to get some sleep.. then i might add a little more bling.. :) here's to hoping!

here is one of many baby mini's i'm setting aside for some really cute pictures to come!
