12x12 layouts and introducing supplies

wow! I’ve been all about layouts lately - normally its mini books all the way.

I’ve been so inspired by all the challenge blogs i'm trying (not to successfully either) to keep up with, movies I’ve watched lately.. Then I read on a design team member’s blog for let's scrap how she writes everything she uses in the post with the layout! How basic a thought! ya know? but I’ve never thought of doing it - what great reference.. so I’m giving it a shot starting with this post. Here goes.
I’ve kept the layouts simple, clean and its been fun getting so much done!

the latest color palette from the color room was very difficult for me (unlike the last one!)

but i gave it a shot and created this..

which now that i'm looking at isn't so bad..

palette #9

i've been a member of the color room for a while but never posted any pictures or participated in a given color palette until now, which is surprising considering my general dislike and meaning of the color pink. however, what really caught me was the combination of the 4 given colors and even more surprising was how many supplies i had with pink in them.
maybe i'm to quick to judge this color of "weakness" and femininity.. cause i was soo inspired by this combination i created 3 layouts!

the latest palette #9
